BOLO W00T!

Thanks so very much to everyone who came out to BOLO last night. I had an amazing, time, as always, and that’s completely due to the great blogging community we have here in town. You are all just the nicest, smartest, funniest people I know.

Some special thanks must go out to Tanya, for doing an amazing job live-tweeting the event; Coreen and Brie for working the door; Lee Ann, Tudor, Julie, Kathleen, and Krista for helping select the posts that were read; Marnie for handling emcee duties with aplomb and also for wrangling with the troublesome sound system; and of course, to all the readers who filled the evening with laughter and tears.

I’d like to send a special shoutout to Annie and Rebecca for promoting the event extensively online through Twitter and Facebook, and to Brie and Julie, who along with myself are the only ones to have made it out to all four BOLO events (I’m having badges made for us!).

Always the number one request I get after the event is for links to the posts that were read, so here they are in the order that they stepped up to the mic. Enjoy!

Awesome job, Lynn. I could only stop in for a little bit, but that was great.
Incredible, really. Nothing else I’ve ever been to is anything like this, it really is great.

But – I didn’t notice any donation box to help defray your costs – and I had money burning a hole in my pocket for you. Not burning so hot that I remembered to flag you down to do it, sorry, but I’d like get some to you somehow! Any suggestions? Got an Amazon wish list or a real-life address i could send a cheque?

This was my first BOLO and I had so much fun. This community is so supportive. Thank you for the opportunity to share a piece of my writing. :)

Great job Lynn, and everyone involved!
